Terms & community rules
Terms version 2026-10-22.1 · Community rules version 2026-10-16 · Updated October 22, 2026Terrace Cafe is operated by Artan Bajram, an individual indie developer in North Macedonia. Contact artanbayram03@gmail.com for support, safety reports or questions. Our Privacy Policy explains personal information and your choices.
Playing Terrace
The game is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, obtain a parent or guardian's permission where required. You can play as a guest; optional Google or Apple linking helps preserve access to your café. Do not share your account credentials or use another person's account without permission.
Understanding and accepting these terms
Where the app presents an Agree & play acknowledgment, choosing it confirms that you meet the stated age requirement, agree to these Terms and acknowledge reading the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not continue using the game. Installation alone is not blanket consent to every form of data processing. Any optional processing that requires consent is subject to a separate choice, and mandatory consumer and privacy rights remain unaffected. The first-use acknowledgment is being introduced in the next app update; earlier versions retain policy links in Settings and a separate acceptance step before publishing a custom name.
Keep the neighbourhood kind
These rules apply to displayed names, profile information, shared café layouts and all other player content. Before publishing a custom name, you must accept these rules in the app.
- No hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, harassing, violent-extremist or otherwise abusive content. Do not bully, stalk or exploit another player.
- No impersonation, scams, spam, advertising, illegal content, or attempts to obtain another person's private information. Do not include email addresses, phone numbers or other contact details in public names.
- Respect other people's privacy and intellectual property. Only share content you have permission to use.
- Do not cheat, automate abusive activity, exploit bugs, tamper with purchases or interfere with the game or its services.
Reporting and blocking
In Friends, open a player's options and choose Report or block. On the leaderboard, tap a player for the same controls. Choose a report reason to send it to our moderation queue. Blocking removes friendship, hides the blocked player and prevents friend requests and visits in either direction. Manage your own blocks through Friends → Blocked players.
We review reports and may remove a name or other content, restrict features or suspend an account depending on severity and repeated abuse. Filtering cannot catch every case; use the report controls or contact support if something gets through. Do not submit malicious or knowingly false reports. To appeal a moderation decision, email support with your player ID and a description; do not send passwords.
Purchases and virtual items
Purchases are optional and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under the store's purchase terms. The store shows the current price before payment. Virtual coins, beans, helpers, furniture and pass benefits are for use within Terrace, have no cash-out value and cannot be traded between players. A seasonal Gold pass applies to the identified season and is not an automatically renewing subscription.
Use Restore purchases to recover eligible restorable purchases on your saved café. Consumed currency/helper packs cannot be restored as unused items. Store refund and statutory consumer rights remain available; account deletion does not automatically refund purchases. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, its benefits may be withdrawn. Ask a parent or guardian before purchasing when required.
Refunds and purchase support
We do not offer discretionary refunds for change of mind. Except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or the purchasing store's policies, purchases of virtual items and Gold pass benefits are final. This does not exclude rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, undelivered or unauthorized purchases. Apple and Google may approve refunds under their own policies, and our policy does not override their decisions or your mandatory consumer rights.
- Apple App Store: request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem service. Apple handles the request under its refund rules.
- Google Play: use Google Play's refund request process. You may also contact us about a purchase problem or a refund required by law. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law and Google Play's refund policies.
For missing items, duplicate delivery or other purchase problems, contact artanbayram03@gmail.com with your player ID, store order or transaction ID and a description of the problem. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. We aim to respond to purchase-support enquiries within three business days. Deleting an account or uninstalling does not itself request or issue a refund. Restore purchases recovers eligible entitlements; it is not a refund and does not recreate currency or helpers already consumed. When a store refunds or revokes a purchase, its associated benefits may be removed.
Your content and our game
You retain any rights you have in your content. You allow us to store, display and moderate the content you choose to share as needed to operate the game's social features. The game's artwork, audio, software and branding are owned by us or used under their respective licences. Third-party credits are available in Settings.
Availability and account deletion
Updates and maintenance may change features or temporarily interrupt access. Contact support about missing progress or purchase problems. You can delete your account and associated personal game data in Settings; details and an external deletion request method are in the deletion section of our Privacy Policy. Deletion is permanent.
Your legal rights and changes
Nothing in these rules limits mandatory privacy or consumer rights, excludes liability where the law prohibits doing so, or prevents contacting a regulator. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes affecting public content rules will be presented before further custom-name submissions. The version above identifies the current rules.
